There are plenty of big name artists on major labels attempting to marry synth-pop with psychedelia in this fashion, and to my mind Ric Gordon's solo Prevrat project has quietly gone ahead and trumped them all - it's that good...THE ACTIVE LISTENER

This angularity and reinvention of the formats Ric carries with him goes very well with a cool beer on a lazy summer's evening. and as far as refractive assuaging is concerned, Prevrat, to quote Rene Zellweger, "Had me at hello"...SUBVERSION

Now if it weren’t for The Velvet Underground’s Live at Max’s, I would have never known that Kansas City had any essential ties to the music world’s sub-culture, but Prevrat seems to be proof that there’s still something worth experiencing in those fly-over states. So worthy in fact, that I Shit Music is proud to premier his new video for “I You Two.... I SHIT MUSIC
